  • Revitalized magazine with new content, refreshed design and upgraded mailing specifications.
  • Created and implemented social media strategy, giving the school a timely and fresh presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Managed design and production of all print, web, and environmental graphics for the largest, private, not-for-profit hospital in Northern California.

Selected Achievements:

  • Managed production of 500 distinct projects in 2009, creating 650+ unique items, including magazines, ad campaigns, billboards, brochures, and the annual report.
  • Saved $300,000 on the 2008 Annual Report vs. 2007 through design updates, revised specs, and strategic creative management.
  • Created value-added system of web-based Publications Management, enabling project tracking by stakeholders and facilitating constant updates of project status and job specifications.
  • Successfully created PDF library of all marketing and communications projects produced by CPMC since 2005; currently striving to ensure ADA compliance for all PDFs produced.

Promoted from designer to drive print and web marketing efforts, develop new technology, and support 25 promotion and book designers for independent children's book and young adult publisher.

Selected Achievements:

  • Pioneered Candlewick's first interactive PDF catalog distributed via CD and online vehicles; developed first secure PDF library of all promotional materials for digital uses.
  • Significantly revamped image processes with documentation, action-script-based processing, and new venues of access for sales and marketing departments, completing each season's images in record time.
  • Planned and executed national advertising campaigns for a variety of titles; created original novelty items for New York Times Best-sellers to boost profit margins.
  • Successfully trained 25 designers on Adobe Creative Suite during transition from Quark to CS2.
